Bella Pollen is a journalist, author of 6 books, an advocate for human rights and working actively in the field of education for Afghan women and girls. She is the co-founder of the 30 BIRDS, a foundation dedicated to forging opportunities for the 450 Afghans, predominantly schoolgirls, it evacuated from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and the thousands more left behind.
