The Imagination Festival – Kinnernet-Europe, is a wild out of the box, irreverent, bottom-up innovation, creativity and cultural unconference created in 2013.The festival gathers each year 200 innovators and some of the most interesting people working in the media, art, technology or creative industries (science, business, technology, media, education, art, environment, social) and geographies (US, Europe, Israel and Asia). Our mission : meet, share our visions and invent desirable futures together. The festival mixes in depth conversations, debates, workshops, but also creative and artistics moments. All participants are equal and contributors and set up the programme by posting the topics on their minds on large wiki-boards. As a network of contributive people, the Festival has the ambition to create and develop each year innovative and contributive projects.Co-hosted by Yossi Vardi and Marc Goldberg, the festival is inspired by the Kinnernet unconference created in Israël in 2003 by Yossi, one of the major figures of the innovation eco-system in.We have created a unique global and diverse community of innovators that challenges conventional thinking, identifies new forms of creativity, and starts global conversations to foster desirable futures. The beauty of Kinnernet Europe is its vision of people, and thought leadership with no commercial agenda, beyond generating, spreading and turning into action great ideas that can bring the best people together. We have designed the 10 Kinnernet Europe Principles to structure how we behave in Avallon during the unconference and to guide the culture that we are creating within the Kinnernet community: 1 We all share a sense of civic responsibility to foster desirable futures 2 Immediacy (It’s happening here and now) 3 Radical participation (everybody contributes) 4 Radical self-expression (the event is your stage) 5 Have some sense of humour (or play to pretend that you do) 6 Kindness (practice kindness for 72 hours) 7 Listen, reflect, respect (don’t suck all the air) 8 Radical self-reliance (take care of yourself) 9 Leave no trace (respect the environment and the people hosting you) 10 Live beyond the event (there are many Kinnernet events and It’s not about being re-invited but about what you will do with the community…) |

Bennett Lieberman is a poet and visual artist who has also worked in academia as a theoretical particle physicist, and in finance as a quantitative trader. The intertwining mysteries of nature and language, and a desire to engage in practices that dwell on them, has been a common thread in his research, his writing, and his studio practice. His visual art, often text-centered, explores the relationship between color, image, and language. Poems or fragments of language, when viewed as overlays to paintings, photos, and color fields or as collage elements in other fine-art objects, acquire physical characteristics. Conversely, the visual elements resonate with transient and oblique meanings evoked by the associated texts. Recent projects have explored art as a window onto consciousness.

I am a Data Scientist/Developer/Innovator with a Ph.D. in quantum physics. I want to apply my creativity, advanced mathematics and full-stack coding skills to make AI/ML improve the world. In my present position at BOLD I report directly to the CEO, ideating and prototyping algorithms and applications beyond the company's regular scope. I believe that we can enter a new economic era by using AI/ML for leveraging peoples unique combinations of traits so that they become more valuable to each other. Among my many interests is the similarities between natural language and quantum physics, such as superposition (e.g. Schrödinger's Cat: the word "Jaguar" is a cat AND a car at the same time until someone 'opens the lid' and observes it in context), and I like applying physics thinking when I design natural language technology. My physics background is a combination of computational physics and spectroscopy, which both are applicable in data science. I'm a Co-founder of i4j Innovation for Jobs, alongside Vint Cerf. I served as Executive Director from 2011 to 2021, when the leadership of i4j was taken over by Guido van Nispen. I co-edited the i4j anthology 'The People-Centered Economy' and wrote the first chapter, presenting a model for a people-centered economy. With the introduction of Large Language Models, the required technology for this vision now exists, making it a tangible reality. Above all, I am a builder, and when I am not building prototypes at work I build road bikes, grow hops, brew beer, bake sourdough and many other things.
Hey everyone, I'm Deborah Laks! I've been on quite the rollercoaster ride in the tech world and as a brand ambassador for the Israeli innovation scene. From crafting partnerships to whipping up marketing campaigns, I've been knee-deep in it all. My journey? Well, it's been a wild one! Started off in Peru, then Costa Rica, and spent a good chunk of time soaking up the vibes in Israel before finding my groove in Madrid, where I'm now raising my adorable 2-year-old daughter. Along the way, I've had my fair share of adventures at companies like Google and Pentera, diving headfirst into both the corporate and startup worlds. Oh, and did I mention my little detour into the culinary arts? Yep, worked alongside some of Israel's finest chefs for a bit! Now, I'm diving into a new chapter, partnering with a Spanish scale-up in educational technology, helping shape the future of education in countries that have less access to digitalization. One of my most exciting projects was leading the Waze community of map editors in Latin America. Community building is my jam, which probably explains why I'm always up for jazzing up a scene or throwing a killer dinner party. Plus, I'm a sucker for exploring new culinary scenes in different cities around the globe. Need some restaurant recommendations? Just check out my profile on Google Maps!

I am driven by the desire to contribute to a world world where all businesses marry profit and purpose and inject optimism, curiosity and adaptability into everything I do. I see hope as an active, moral choice which we can all cultivate. , I help purpose-driven leaders grow their companies - and associated positive impact - more easily through practical tools, complementary collaborations and the learned confidence to adapt in new ways to the growing challenges of a fast changing world.. I made the courageous decision to leave behind my previous career and return to Provence. I embraced the opportunity to join my family's business, specializing in plant production. It has been a fulfilling journey to contribute to the growth and success of our family enterprise. In addition to my commitment to the family business, I am the President of the local business club, Round Table. Our main objective is to raise funds for children in need, while also fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the local area. It is a cause that holds great importance to me, and I find immense satisfaction in making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Currently I live in France, but my homeland is Ukraine, and most of my working activities are still connected with it. I started my career in the PR realm when I was 18. At 20 years old, I made my first project as an entrepreneur. Ukraine gave me lots of opportunities to boost my career path and improve my leadership skills, and thanks to the favorable environment, my agency still holds a firm position in the niche. As a women-entrepreneur in the tech industry, I regularly stumble on problems and stereotypes related to gender. Ambitious and empowered women face such issues like impostor syndrome and glass ceiling. That is why, my partner and I decided to help other women move forward in their careers, find role models and get mentoring whether it is needed. Originally we have started with the main goal of supporting women in a mainly male-dominated tech industry. After the full-fledged war in Ukraine started, we changed our focus to supporting women who were forced to flee and adapt to new countries and markets. We have a broad network of professionals worldwide that helped our members to integrate to new ecosystems. Currently, Wtech has more than 5 000 members and 50 volunteers within the community. Now we support female leaders in 20 countries

Xander Bueno de Mesquita is the founding father of Treating Life Well©, a concept built on the sweet spot between three primary ideas: Circularity, Place-Making and Hospitality. All three concepts redefine how human beings interact with the world, and how that interaction can produce positivity and energy, instead of waste and isolation. The QO hotel in Amsterdam is a living manifestation of Xander’s vision and concept. The QO is Europe’s most sustainable hotel, and its first LEED Platinum-certified Living Building. By aiming to close the loops of water, energy, CO2 and waste, Xander proved that respect for humans and respect for planet can go hand in hand. And that a better society begins with a connected community. In everything he does, Xander heralds his core values: Good Energy, Humble Food, Fresh Thinking, Beautiful People and Local Creativity. These core values support his work and secure his legacy. His goal is to spread the Treating Life Well mantra to every project, community and city that aims to make more human connections with more respect for the planet. He aims to help others create legacies of their own.

I am a strategy scholar specialising in quantitative research of business ethics and corporate social responsibility at London Business School, with an emphasis on socio-political strategies. My research seeks to help stakeholders understand what drives bad behaviour in firms, and by firms so that the conditions leading to potential costly organizational misconduct can be avoided. I research a wide variety of settings ranging from stock option backdating and financial restatements, to student plagiarism violence in professional sports and violations of health standards in elderly care-homes. In a related research stream I examine how, in a politically polarized world, social mobilisation to support diversity, environmental sustainability and labour safety can in fact push some firms to pollute, discriminate and abuse labour even more. Before joining Academia, I served as the domestic policy advisor for FMP Benjamin Netanyahu (2005-2007) and the heads of the Economics and Government Oversight Committees in Israel.
