Afton Halloran has been working in the realm of food and sustainability for over 12 years. She has a PhD in Paediatric and International Nutrition with a specialization in Sustainable Food Systems. She is a freelance consultant and has been working on projects for governmental and international organizations. She is the author of three books on food policy and future foods. Afton is also a member of the Judging Panel of the World Restaurant Awards and Board Member of FunkisFabriken Centre for Research in Sustainability. Originally from Vancouver Island, Canada, Afton has been calling Copenhagen her home for over 9 years.
