I am passionate about the impact of a broad range of technologies on society, and I enjoy vibrant interfaces. I started off in theoretical computer science, co-founded a biotechnology startup, founded a government research lab in computational biology, started biotechnology at oil major Total, then developed its cleantech R&D into an open-innovation organization, a network of partnerships with startups and academic labs in the US and Europe.
