Yousef Sweid

An actor, a dancer, a puppeteer, a Theater director and a writer. He is a Palestinian-Israeli Immigrant. He studied social-theater in the University of Tel Aviv and worked with Arab and Jewish communities in mixed cities. He wrote and directed 6 different Theater pieces that were built from the personal stories of individuals in those communities. this work brought him to be one of the founders of the „Arab-Hebrew Theater“ in Jaffa. He was part of the Israeli National Theater ensemble and the Cameri Theater ensemble in tel Aviv, and soon enough he was part of the TV and film industry too. Today he lives Berlin. He worked in the Maxim Gorki Theater , and the Schaubühne, and the Burg Theater in Vienna. He acted in many international movies and series like “Unorthodox”, “woman of the dead” , “game of thrones” and more…
