Hey everyone, I’m Deborah Laks! I’ve been on quite the rollercoaster ride in the tech world and as a brand ambassador for the Israeli innovation scene. From crafting partnerships to whipping up marketing campaigns, I’ve been knee-deep in it all. My journey? Well, it’s been a wild one! Started off in Peru, then Costa Rica, and spent a good chunk of time soaking up the vibes in Israel before finding my groove in Madrid, where I’m now raising my adorable 2-year-old daughter. Along the way, I’ve had my fair share of adventures at companies like Google and Pentera, diving headfirst into both the corporate and startup worlds. Oh, and did I mention my little detour into the culinary arts? Yep, worked alongside some of Israel’s finest chefs for a bit! Now, I’m diving into a new chapter, partnering with a Spanish scale-up in educational technology, helping shape the future of education in countries that have less access to digitalization. One of my most exciting projects was leading the Waze community of map editors in Latin America. Community building is my jam, which probably explains why I’m always up for jazzing up a scene or throwing a killer dinner party.
