Javier Aguera Reneses

Javier is an inventor and social entrepreneur, passionate about making technology humane and safe. He launched Europe’s first Android phone in 2009, and has helped build additional ventures in cybersecurity, privacy, journalism, media, industrial IoT, and AI/NLP. His current project, Pandora’s Way, reinvents the concept of rites of passage to provide parents with a better answer to the challenge of giving their kids their first phone. He is a fellow at Sesame Workshop and a former fellow at the Institute for Rebooting Social Media at Harvard’s Berkman Center. In his free time, he builds interactive art experiences, incubates dreams, and crafts bedtime stories.
