José A. del Moral is an angel investor with positions in 5 startups in Spain (Chicisimo, Alianzo, Mapalia, AgoraNews and iBotanika), all of them in the social networking and analytics field. He also was a founding partner of Ya.com, a Spanish startup later sold to Deutsche Telekom for €540 M. Before, he was head of Internet contents for Vocento, the main Spanish media group. He also created the Startup 2.0 competition back in 2007. He graduated in Law and Economics at the University of Deusto (Spain), has a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Namur (Belgium) and specialized in Internet Politics at Stanford University (USA). He’s written several books about social media and, according to the daily El Mundo, is considered one of the 25 most influential Spanish people on the Internet.
